Senior SAP FICO Functional Analyst

Overview

Our client, a large and well-established organization undergoing continued technology transformation, is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Functional Analyst to join their enterprise applications team.

This role combines production support, business process analysis, SAP configuration, and project delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance stakeholders and IT teams to design, implement, and support SAP solutions that drive critical financial operations across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

• Configure and support SAP FICO solutions to meet evolving business requirements
• Partner with Finance leaders and end users to gather, analyze, and document requirements
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and system solutions
• Support SAP production environments and resolve application issues within established service levels
• Create and execute test plans, test scripts, and validation activities
• Participate in SAP enhancement, upgrade, and implementation projects
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and custom development efforts
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
• Support end-user adoption and stabilization activities following new deployments
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Finance and IT operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of SAP FICO functional experience
• Hands-on SAP configuration experience within Finance modules
• Experience supporting SAP implementations and production environments
• Knowledge of SAP integration points with MM and SD
• Experience creating functional specifications and coordinating testing activities
• Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Nice-to-Have Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

• SAP MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Logistics Invoice Verification)
• SAP SD (Billing, Credit Management, Contract Management)
• Real Estate (RE)
• Project Systems (PS)
• IDocs
• S/4HANA migration or transformation initiatives
