Summary:
In the role of Business Process Architect, a typical day involves analyzing and designing innovative business processes that align with organizational goals. Additionally, the position involves participating in user and task analysis to accurately represent business demands, ensuring that solutions are well-tailored to operational realities. The role is dynamic and requires continuous engagement with evolving business environments to drive effective process improvements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as an SAP Oil & Gas Downstream SME and provide functional guidance to the support team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents and recurring application issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive solutions.
- Collaborate with business, functional, technical, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams.
- Own key support decisions and coordinate issue resolution across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior resources and promote knowledge sharing.
- Drive improvements to application stability, support efficiency, and business continuity.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Oil & Gas Downstream.

- TSW – Trading & Scheduling Work bench
- SPW – Stock Projection Work bench
- TD – Bulk Transportation & Distribution
- TM – Transport Management with Integration TSW
- HPM – Hydrocarbon Product Management
- F&A – Formula & Average Price
- Oil Exchanges
- TDP – Tariffs, Duties and Permits
- LCFS & RINs – Low Carbon Fuel Standard and Renewable Identification Numbers
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Oil & Gas Downstream.
- Strong experience in at least one core SAP module: SAP SD or SAP MM.
- Strong SAP production/application support and troubleshooting experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to independently handle complex issues and work across multiple teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
