Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedSAP Finance / Intercompany Lead with strong functional expertise in SAP Finance, General Ledger, and intercompany accounting. The ideal candidate will have extensive SAP FICO implementation experience, a strong understanding of multinational accounting processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

The candidate should be comfortable leading onshore and offshore teams, collaborating with senior stakeholders, and supporting solution design, process flows, configuration, data requirements, and documentation. SAP S/4HANA experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Finance and intercompany solution design, functional configuration, and implementation activities.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system design.

• Define and maintain SAP organizational structures and chart of accounts to support current and future business needs.

• Support intercompany transactions, eliminations, financial consolidation, and multinational accounting processes.

• Identify functional and technical requirements, including APIs, data objects, process flows, and data creation needs.

• Refine business use cases, evaluate feasibility, and prepare functional and technical documentation.

• Ensure alignment with IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.

• Lead project deliverables, manage onshore and offshore resources, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

• Provide technical and functional guidance to team members and mentor resources on solution architecture and delivery.

• Collaborate with senior executives and business stakeholders to communicate solution options, risks, and recommendations.

• Drive issue resolution, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.

• Stay current with SAP Finance technologies, implementation practices, and industry developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of general accounting and SAP Finance modules, including:

  • SAP General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Fixed Assets (FA)

  • Tax

  • Basic Controlling (CO)

• Strong working experience withSAP New General Ledger (New GL).

• Experience with SAP organizational structures and chart of accounts design.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles.

• Experience with multinational organizations, intercompany transactions, eliminations, and financial consolidation.

• Experience as an SAP FICO Lead on at least2–3 full lifecycle implementations.

• Experience as a sub-module lead on at least5–8 implementations.

• Proven experience managing onshore and offshore teams and deliverables.

• Functional expertise combined with technical understanding of APIs, data requirements, process flows, and documentation.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

• Strong stakeholder management and executive presentation capabilities.

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and mentor team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience withSAP S/4HANA implementations.

• Experience in consulting or professional services environments.

• Strong understanding of SAP Finance solution architecture and evolving technologies.

Work Requirements

• Onsite work in New Brunswick, NJ.

• Weekly travel to the project location.

• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and manage project deliverables effectively.
