SAP FICO Lead Consultant (ECC & S/4HANA)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedSAP FICO Lead Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects. The ideal candidate will lead Finance and Controlling workstreams, drive solution design, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure successful project delivery across global engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, enhancements, upgrades, and support engagements.

• Conduct business workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into SAP solutions.

• Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules, including:

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Asset Accounting

  • Bank Accounting

  • Cost Center Accounting

  • Internal Orders

  • Product Costing

  • Profit Center Accounting

  • Controlling and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

• Drive Fit-Gap analysis, solution design, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.

• Coordinate with technical and cross-functional teams to manage developments, integrations, and issue resolution.

• Support period-end and year-end financial closing processes.

• Ensure integration of SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP, and PS modules.

• Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership across project teams.

• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and financial business requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience.

• Strong expertise in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance.

• Experience with at leasttwo full-cycle SAP implementations.

• At leastone SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion project.

• Strong configuration experience across SAP FI and CO modules.

• Experience with implementation, rollout, enhancement, upgrade, and production support projects.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, controlling processes, and financial close activities.

• Hands-on experience with SAP integration across MM, SD, PP, and PS.

• Experience in requirements gathering, Fit-Gap analysis, solution design, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
