Join our IT team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to technological innovation that enables our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Systems Analyst II, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, maintain, and optimize critical business systems. You'll leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure smooth operations of enterprise applications.

Work closely with business partners to understand needs, document requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions. Lead the configuration, testing, and deployment of system enhancements while ensuring compliance with corporate standards. Provide technical guidance to resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will directly impact our ability to serve customers and advance scientific discovery.

Key Responsibilities 

• Analyse business requirements and configure SAP FI/CO solutions aligned with business objectives. 
• Configure and support SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Financial Closing. 
• Configure and support SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). 
• Support integration between SAP FICO and other SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, and PS. 
• Design, test, and support RFC-based integrations between SAP and external applications.
• Participate in data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements. 
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support. 
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to resolve functional issues and recommend process improvements. 
• Maintain project documentation, configuration documents, and knowledge transfer materials. 

Required Skills 

• SAP FI: Strong hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and financial closing.
• SAP CO: Strong knowledge of Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and CO-PA.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance: Practical experience with S/4HANA Finance processes, configuration, and related business functionality.
• Cross-Module Integration: Good understanding of FI/CO integration withSD, MM, PP, and PS, including account determination and financial postings.
• SAP Configuration: Ability to translate business requirements into functional design and independently perform FI/CO configuration.
• Functional Specifications: Ability to prepare detailed functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and custom developments.
• Testing: Experience with unit testing, SIT/integration testing, regression testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and test documentation.
• Data Migration & Cutover: Experience supporting master/transactional data migration, reconciliation, cutover planning, Go-Live, and hypercare.
• Production Support: Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills for business-critical FI/CO incidents and integration issues.
• Business Process Knowledge: Strong understanding ofRecord-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes from a Finance perspective.
• Documentation & Stakeholder Management: Ability to maintain configuration/process documentation, conduct knowledge transfer, work directly with Finance stakeholders, and recommend process improvements.
• Familiar with SAP transport management and change management processes. 
   

Preferred Skills 

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance. 
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, any middleware  
• Support interface monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for integration failures. 
• Interfaces & Integrations: Experience with RFC-based interfaces and understanding of SAP integration with external/third-party applications.
• Experience with EBS, payment interfaces, and banking integrations. 
• Exposure to middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica.
