Title:SAP EWM Functional Lead
Contract Duration: 3 Months (January – March 31, 2027)
Location:Ottawa, ON
Work Model: On-site support required at implementation sites; travel required
Security Requirements: Active Canadian Secret Clearance & Controlled Goods Certificate 

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced professional to support an SAP implementation and deployment engagement. The successful candidate will lead a team through deployment, testing, knowledge transfer, end-user support, and hypercare activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience with SAP EWM solutions.
• Strong SAP EWM functional knowledge and implementation/deployment experience.
• Experience leading or providing functional direction to SAP resources.
• Experience supporting testing, defect management, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer capabilities.
• Ability to work directly with end users and project stakeholders.
• Must hold Canadian Secret Clearance and Controlled Goods.
• Must be willing and able to travel to implementation sites to provide on-site end-user support.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• SAP Functional certification.
• Experience with SAP Explosives Management.
• Experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and provide functional direction to a team of SAP EWM Functional resources.
• Support the development and execution of Deployment and Hypercare plans.
• Review existing project and solution documentation.
• Develop and coordinate a structured Knowledge Transfer (KT) plan.
• Provide on-site end-user support during implementation and deployment.
• Identify, document, and log system defects.
• Perform functional testing and support corrective actions through defect resolution.
• Identify and track project issues and risks.
• Provide regular progress and status updates to project stakeholders.
• Work closely with project teams to support a successful EWM deployment and transition into hypercare.
