Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. The engineer actively oversees the progress of development tasks and ensures alignment with project goals, fostering collaboration and innovation throughout the software lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP EWM.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes and integration with enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP Extended Warehouse Management modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions within SAP EWM environments.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices in application design and deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP EWM.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
