SAP developer , ABAP

Required Education:
· University degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:
· 7+ years of professional software development using modern technologies, frameworks, and tools.
· Solid experience with SAP development, including modern ABAP, Fiori/SAPUI5, events, user exits, BTP, SAP GUI, Adobe Forms, Transports and BC Sets.
· Experience with system integration including XML, JSON, SQL, OData services, CDS Views, data mapping, data transformations and web services.
· Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Additional / Asset Experience:
· Experience with the SAP New Product Compliance and EH&S module, including WWI and Property Tree.
· Handson experience with Azure DevOps for project tracking and pipelines, including PowerShell scripting for automation and tooling.

Job Responsibilities

· Contribute as part of an agile team to the design, development, and validation of a prototype integrating the Compliance Engine for EH&S solution with the new SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance solution.
· Design and implement system integrations, including OData services, APIs, data mapping, data transformation, and interoperability with external services.
· Contribute to technical investigation activities and proof‐of‐concept related to Fiori applications, SAP Clean Core principles, SAP add-on packaging and evaluation of BTP hosting options.
· Document technical decisions, prototype findings and limitations to support sprint demos, knowledge transfer and future roadmap decisions.
· Collaborate with product owners and domain experts to understand business requirements and technical constraints.

Department/Project Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team as we accelerate the technical exploration and prototyping of our next‐generation Compliance Engine for EH&S solution, an enterprise-grade solution certified for SAP S/4HANA.
The Compliance Engine for EH&S is an integrated pre-packaged product compliance suite for SAP EH&S that delivers regulatory data, rule sets, phrases, templates and content editing/configuration tools in order to automate the generation of compliant global regulatory documents, such as Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), out-of-the-box.
