Job Summary

Responsible for the technical development, enhancement, and support of enterprise integration solutions withinSAP PI/PO andSAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration) environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on development experience in both SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI, with proven expertise in migrating interfaces from SAP PI/PO to SAP Cloud Integration.

This role requires close collaboration with Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, Functional Teams, and Business Users to understand end-to-end business processes and deliver scalable integration solutions. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple development initiatives, supporting production environments, troubleshooting integration issues, and contributing to enterprise integration modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration).
• Create custom integration flows (iFlows) utilizing standard and advanced CPI capabilities.
• Participate in SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI migration projects, including assessment, redevelopment, testing, and deployment activities.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, File, and JDBC technologies.
• Build and enhance Groovy scripts, message mappings, value mappings, and exception handling processes.
• Troubleshoot interface failures and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
• Create technical design documents, deployment guides, and operational support documentation.
• Support performance tuning and optimization of SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI interfaces.
• Follow enterprise integration standards, security requirements, and development best practices.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP Process Integration / Process Orchestration (PI/PO) 7.4 or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP Integration Suite Cloud Integration (CPI) development experience.
• Strong experience developing new integrations in SAP CPI from requirements through deployment.
• Proven experience with SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI migration projects.
• Ability to create custom integration flows using SAP Integration Suite Cloud Integration.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, middleware concepts, and enterprise application integration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with SAP PI/PO configuration, development, implementation, and support using:

- JDBC Adapter - SFTP Adapter - File Adapter - IDoc Adapter - XI Proxy - REST Adapter - SOAP Adapter

• Hands-on experience with SAP CPI adapters including:

- SFTP - SOAP - HTTP - OData - IDoc - ProcessDirect

• Experience with API security, OAuth, certificates, authentication, and encryption.
• Experience working with XML, JSON, XPath, XSLT, and Groovy scripting.
• SAP PI/PO performance tuning and interface optimization experience.
• Experience monitoring and supporting production integrations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Clear communicator.

Preferred Skills

• SAP S/4HANA integration experience.
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI with JDE and other ERP platforms.
• SAP BTP exposure and understanding of cloud integration architecture.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 SQL stored procedure development.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft T-SQL stored procedure development.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, or other source control and deployment tools.
