Key Responsibilities
• Build custom business applications on SAP BTP using SAP CAP (Node.js/Java) with clean service modeling and APIs.
• Develop responsive UIs using SAPUI5 / Fiori Elements and consume OData V2/V4 services.
• Implement workflow automation using SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) and integrate workflows with backend services (e.g., CAP services consumed by BPA).
• Configure and operate BTP environments: destinations, service bindings, CI/CD.
• Deliver end-to-end integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI/Cloud Integration), API Management, and event-driven patterns using SAP Event Mesh.
• Ensure solutions align to data governance/metadata management and development compliance expectations.
Must-Have Skills (Core)
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP architecture (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, serverless).
• Hands-on expertise in:
o SAP CAP (Node.js/Java)
o SAPUI5 / Fiori Elements
o OData V2/V4
o JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.js / Java
• Proven experience with SAP Build tools: Build Apps, Build Process Automation, Build Work Zone.
• Data foundation: HANA Cloud development (HDI, SQLScript, modeling) and awareness of Datasphere semantic/data product concepts.
