About The Client:

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4 to 12 Years

Must Have

  • Strong hands-on experience inSAP ABAP development across one or more core SAP modules includingMaster Data, Order Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Proven experience in3–5 end-to-end full life cycle global SAP implementations, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Prior experience indesigning and implementing global solutions across multiple legal entities in complex, integrated system landscapes.
  • Extensive experience withABAP development techniques, including:
    • Classical & Interactive Reports
    • Module Pool (Dynpro) Programming
    • Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework
    • Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)
  • Strong experience withForms and Outputs such asSmart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms (preferred).
  • Hands-on expertise inIDOCs (ALE/EDI), inbound and outbound processing, and error handling.
  • Experience in developing and consumingSOAP/REST Web Services, RFCs, and other SAP integration technologies.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience withWeb Dynpro ABAP, SAP Fiori, and UI-related developments.
  • Strong understanding ofoptimized database programming, performance tuning, and efficient SQL queries (Open SQL, Native SQL).
  • Excellent skills introubleshooting and debugging complex, integrated SAP applications.
  • Deep understanding ofSAP data models, table structures, and relationships across various modules.
  • Exposure tobasic SAP system administration tasks, including system tracing, performance analysis, and identifying bottlenecks.
  • Ability to mapbusiness processes to technical solutions, ensuring alignment between functional requirements and technical implementation.

Good to Have

  • Experience working withSAP implementation methodologies such as ASAP, Activate, or Agile-based delivery models.
  • Familiarity withmodern software development practices, including version control, CI/CD concepts, and code quality standards.
  • Strong understanding ofsoftware testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and defect management.
  • Exposure totest automation tools and automated testing frameworks is an added advantage.
  • Functional exposure to multiple SAP modules such as:
    • Sales & Distribution (SD)
    • Materials Management (MM)
    • Project Systems (PS)
    • Service Management (SM)
    • Finance & Controlling (FI/CO)
  • Ability tocreate and manage test data across multiple SAP modules for functional and integration testing.
  • Experience insupporting production systems, handling incidents, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work closely with functional teams, business users, and external stakeholders.
