POSITIONSUMMARY
TheSeniorFacilitiesManagerleadsthedailyoperation,reliability,andoverallfacilitiesexperienceacrossSonyPlayStationlocationsinSanDiegoandOrangeCountywithinafast-pacedenvironmentinthevideogameindustry.ThisroleprovidesdirectleadershiptoateamoffacilitiesandengineeringprofessionalsandservesasakeyliaisonbetweenCushman &WakefieldandSonyPlayStation.
TheSeniorFacilitiesManagerisresponsibleforensuringbuildings,systems,vendors,andservicesoperatesafely,efficiently,andatahighstandardtosupportemployeesandbusinessoperations.Thispositionoverseesfacilityoperations,engineeringandmaintenanceprograms,vendorperformance,financialmanagement,clientrelationships,teamdevelopment,KPIs,andlong-termfacilityneedsacrosstheportfolio.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONSANDRESPONSIBILITIES
•Leadday-to-dayfacilitiesoperationsacrossassignedSonyPlayStationlocationsinSanDiegoandOrangeCounty,ensuringfacilitiesaresafe,reliable,well-maintained,andconsistentlyoperatedtoahighstandard.
•Providedirectleadership,coaching,anddevelopmenttoateamoffacilitiesandengineeringprofessionals.Establishclearexpectations,priorities,accountability,andperformancestandardsacrosstheteam.
•ServeasaprimaryfacilitiesliaisonbetweenCushman &WakefieldandSonyPlayStation,developingstrongrelationshipswithkeyclientstakeholdersandmaintainingproactivecommunicationregardingsiteoperations,priorities,risks,projects,andbusinessneeds.
•Overseedeliveryoffacilityservicesincludingengineeringandmaintenance,janitorial,landscaping,lifesafety,wastemanagement,pestcontrol,buildingsystems,andothercontractedservices.
•Leadpreventiveandcorrectivemaintenanceprogramsforbuildingsystemsandequipment,withanemphasisonreliability,lifecyclemanagement,businesscontinuity,andminimizingoperationaldisruptions.
•Ensurethefacilitiesandengineeringteamsprovidepositive,proactive,andtimelyresponsestoclientandemployeeneedswhilemaintainingappropriateprioritiesandservicelevels.
•Developaproactiveoperatingculturethatanticipatesclientandfacilityneeds,identifiesrisksearly,andaddressesissuesbeforetheyimpactbusinessoperations.
•Managethird-partyvendorsandservicecontracts,includingvendorperformance,scopecompliance,servicequality,pricing,invoicing,andongoingperformancereviews.
•SupportsourcingactivitiesandRFPs,evaluatevendorproposals,identifyopportunitiesforcostsavingsandoperationalefficiencies,andensureservicesaredeliveredinaccordancewithcontractualrequirements.
•Ownfinancialperformancefortheassignedportfolio,includingannualbudgeting,forecasting,accruals,varianceanalysisandcommentary,purchaseorders,invoicemanagement,andongoingexpensetracking.
•Prepareanddelivermonthlyandquarterlyfinancialandoperationalreporting,providingclearexplanationsofperformance,risks,trends,andcorrectiveactionsasneeded.
•Supportannualcapitalplanninganddevelopmentofmulti-yearfacilityplans,includingequipmentlifecyclereplacement,infrastructureimprovements,deferredmaintenance,facilityimprovements,andcost-reductionopportunities.
•UtilizeCMMS/work-orderdata,KPIs,servicemetrics,siteinspections,andotheroperationalinformationtoevaluateperformance,identifyrecurringissuesorservicegaps,andimplementcorrectiveactions.
•Maintainastrongunderstandingofbuildinginfrastructure,criticalsystems,andoperationalrisksacrosstheportfolioandensureappropriateescalationandresponsewhenissuesarise.
•Coordinateplannedshutdowns,criticalmaintenance,emergencyrepairs,andotheractivitiesthatmayimpactbusinessoperations,includingafter-hoursandweekendworkwhenrequired.
•Partnercloselywithclientteams,landlordsandpropertymanagement,Security,IT,EH&S,ProjectManagement,Workplace,vendors,andotherstakeholderstocoordinateactivitiesandsupportbusinessobjectives.
•Leadfacilitiessupportforprojects,renovations,moves,events,andotherbusinessinitiativesasrequired,ensuringappropriateplanning,communication,resourceallocation,andoperationalreadiness.
•Recruit,onboard,train,develop,andretainfacilitiesandengineeringpersonnel.Conductperformancereviews,provideongoingcoachingandfeedback,andsupportcareerdevelopmentandsuccessionplanning.
•PromoteastrongcultureofsafetyandensurecompliancewithapplicableCushman &Wakefieldpolicies,clientrequirements,regulatoryrequirements,environmentalhealthandsafetystandards,andestablishedoperatingprocedures.
•Supportemergencypreparedness,incidentresponse,businesscontinuity,andescalationprotocolsacrosstheassignedportfolio.
•Drivecontinuousimprovementbyidentifyingandimplementingbestpractices,processimprovements,technology,cost-savingopportunities,andinnovativesolutionsthatimprovetheemployeeexperienceandoverallfacilityperformance.
•Balanceday-to-dayoperationalrequirementswithlonger-termstrategicpriorities,ensuringthefacilitiesorganizationremainsresponsivewhilecontinuouslyimprovingthereliability,efficiency,andperformanceoftheportfolio.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
