Supply Chain Specialist Advanced

The Supply Chain Specialist Advanced performs daily Supply Chain Management duties related to the acquisition, distribution, and inventory management of supplies and equipment that support acute and ambulatory care departments. This role also supports and maintains computer-based systems to ensure continuous operational availability for end users. The specialist assists with operational initiatives, projects, program management activities, and service delivery while collaborating with colleagues, leadership, and vendors. The position requires independent completion of multiple activities related to the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of Supply Chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the acquisition, receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with inventory control processes.
• Support supply chain systems and operational technologies.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, staff, and leadership regarding supply chain operations.
• Monitor and evaluate operational performance to support efficient service delivery.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform heavy lifting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in receiving operations, logistics, inventory management, and team supervision preferred.
• Two (2) to Three (3) years of Supply Chain experience required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:

$23.40 - $26.41

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
