Job Summary

• Design and develop intuitive, accessible, responsive, and high-performing user experiences on the Salesforce platform.

• Combine front-end development expertise with UX design principles.

• Improve Salesforce user adoption, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with business, product, engineering, Salesforce development, and architecture teams.

UI/UX Design Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business and user requirements.

• Create:

  • Wireframes

  • Mockups

  • Prototypes

  • User flows

• UseFigma or similar UX/design tools.

• Conduct usability assessments and recommend UX improvements.

• Maintain consistent design standards, branding, and user experience.

• Implement accessibility standards, includingWCAG compliance.

• Apply Design Thinking and User-Centered Design principles.

Salesforce Front-End Development

• Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce user interfaces using:

  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  • Aura Components

  • Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)

• Build responsive and reusable UI components.

• Configure:

  • Lightning App Builder

  • Record Pages

  • Experience Cloud Sites

• Develop interactive dashboards and productivity-focused user experiences.

• Optimize UI performance and responsiveness across browsers and devices.

Integration & Collaboration

• Integrate Salesforce UI solutions with:

  • Apex

  • SOQL

  • Salesforce APIs

  • REST APIs

  • Enterprise systems

• Collaborate with:

  • Salesforce Developers

  • Salesforce Architects

  • Product Owners

  • Business Analysts

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies:

  • Sprint Planning

  • Sprint Reviews

  • Retrospectives

• SupportSIT, UAT, and production deployments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX defects.

Technical Leadership

• Establish Salesforce UI development standards.

• Create and maintain reusable component libraries.

• Perform code reviews.

• Mentor junior developers.

• Recommend best practices for:

  • Salesforce UX

  • Usability

  • Accessibility

  • Front-end development

• Stay current with Salesforce releases and emerging UX technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in:

  • Computer Science

  • Information Technology

  • Design

  • Related discipline

• 5+ years of UI/UX or front-end development experience.

• 3+ years of Salesforce Lightning development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  • Aura Framework

  • SLDS

  • HTML5

  • CSS3

  • JavaScript / ES6+

• Experience with at least one Salesforce cloud:

  • Service Cloud

  • Sales Cloud

  • Health Cloud

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Responsive design

  • Accessibility standards

  • WCAG

• Experience integrating Salesforce UI with:

  • Apex

  • SOQL

  • REST APIs

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
