About The Job:
- The Salesforce Service Developer will be part of an agile SCRUM team (together with a Scrum Master, Product Owner from Kia, and other stakeholders) and will be responsible for the technical implementation of sprint backlog items.
Development and Configuration
- Implement and configure Salesforce Service Cloud and Data Cloud features
- Adapt the Charging Data Model
- Create a new case type “Charging Support”
- Build Lightning Record Pages, Custom Components, and Webforms
- Set up SLAs and case routing rules
- Configure sharing & visibility rules, profiles, and permission sets
- Adapt the Home Screen for the Charging Support team
- Create localized notifications with translation and validation logic
- Implement an escalation process for 2nd-level support in Freshdesk
- Set up REST API integration between Salesforce and the Kia Charge Portal (OAuth 2.0 authentication)
- Integrate Salesforce Service Cloud with Freshdesk (2nd-level support via connector or API)
- Develop custom LWC components that fetch real-time data from the Charging Portal and trigger actions (e.g., start/stop a charging session, block RFID cards)
- Configure a Connected App to push data from the Charging Portal to Data Cloud
- Set up data ingestion in Data Cloud for up to 10 tables (30 fields each)
- Create Data Streams and data mappings
- Adapt master data transformations in Data Cloud
- Testing, Deployment & Documentation
- Conduct unit and integration testing
- Support UAT and deployment activities
- Produce developer documentation for implemented sprint backlog items
- Experience: 6+ yrs.
- Salesforce Service Cloud - Strong experience with case management, Omni-Channel, SLAs, workflows, and notification logic
- Salesforce Data Cloud - Hands-on experience with Data Streams, ingestion, mappings, and connected apps
- Salesforce Development - Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Validation Rules, API integration
- Integration Technologies - Proficient with REST, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and optionally SOAP
- System Integration - Experience connecting Salesforce to external systems (Freshdesk, portals, APIs)
- Testing & Deployment - Skilled in unit testing, integration testing, and deployments (CI/CD or change sets)
- SCRUM / Agile - Experience working in agile development cycles with Jira and sprint-based workflows
- Documentation - Ability to produce concise and clear technical documentation
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I (required), Service Cloud Consultant (preferred)
- Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flow Builder
- Proven experience with REST API integrations
- Data Cloud expertise (data ingestion, mapping, connected apps)
- Experience integrating with Freshdesk or similar support platforms
