We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in validating digital marketing solutions built on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing customer journeys, email campaigns, automations, data integrations, and personalization to ensure high-quality marketing executions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Validate Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Mobile Studio, and Data Extensions.
- Test customer journeys, email personalization, dynamic content, triggered sends, segmentation, and audience targeting.
- Validate subscriber data, preference centers, unsubscribe processes, and consent management.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Validate SQL queries, data imports/exports, automations, file transfers, and scheduled jobs.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and marketing teams to ensure successful campaign releases.
- Support release validation and production deployment activities.
- 5 to 10 years of QA experience with at least 5 years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud testing.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and modules.
- Hands-on experience testing Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Data Extensions.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and defect management skills.
- Experience with Personalization (Interaction Studio) or Data Cloud.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or Git.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications are preferred.
