Job Description
We are looking for an experiencedSalesforce QA Engineer with strong Playwright automation expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce testing, web application automation, API testing, and building scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Salesforce applications.
- Automate UI test scenarios usingPlaywright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Test Salesforce functionalities includingSales Cloud, Service Cloud, CRM workflows, custom objects, validation rules, workflows, and integrations.
- Create and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate Salesforce data, workflows, reports, dashboards, and business processes.
- Perform API testing using tools such asPostman and validate integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Execute SOQL queries for data validation and testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues using tools such asJira.
- Collaborate with developers, Salesforce administrators, business analysts, and product teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such asJenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience withSalesforce testing.
- Strong experience inPlaywright automation testing.
- Good knowledge ofJavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with API testing and REST services.
- Strong knowledge ofSOQL and Salesforce data validation.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and Page Object Model (POM).
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
- Strong knowledge of defect management and test management processes.
- Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform Developer certification.
- Experience withCypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
- Knowledge of Salesforce APIs and integrations.
- Experience withGitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) testing.
