CI/CD with GitHub and GitHub Actions β’ Design, build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows that validate, test and deploy Client metadata and MuleSoft applications automatically. β’ Define and enforce branching strategy (GitFlow, trunk-based or release branches), pull request reviews, branch protection rules and merge policies. β’ Automate Client deployments using Client CLI (sf/sfdx), Metadata API, unlocked or unmanaged packages and delta (incremental) deployments. β’ Automate MuleSoft builds and deployments using Maven, the Mule Maven Plugin and Anypoint CLI to CloudHub 1.0/2.0, Runtime Fabric. β’ Manage secrets, connected apps, JWT authentication and environment-specific properties securely in GitHub Environments and Secrets. β’ Integrate quality gates: Apex test execution and code coverage, MUnit tests, PMD / Client Code Analyzer, and security scans. Client environment and portal management β’ Deploy Client Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud (community/portal) sites, including site configuration, LWC, Apex, flows and profiles/permission sets. β’ Manage sandbox strategy, refreshes, seeding of test data and post-refresh steps. β’ Keep environments in sync and resolve metadata drift between orgs. MuleSoft deployment β’ Deploy and promote MuleSoft APIs and integrations through Anypoint Platform environments, including API Manager policies, properties and client configurations. β’ Coordinate Client and MuleSoft release dependencies so integrations and the orgs they connect go live together. Governance and continuous improvement β’ Maintain release documentation, change records and audit trails to meet SOX, internal change management or ITIL requirements. β’ Monitor pipeline health, deployment success rates and lead time, and continuously reduce manual steps. β’ Mentor developers on Git, source-driven development and deployment best practices. Required qualifications β’ 5 years in Client release management, DevOps or deployment engineering, with at least 3 years hands-on in a DevOps or release lead role. β’ Proven hands-on experience deploying Client orgs and MuleSoft applications across multiple environments in an enterprise setting. β’ Hands-on experience deploying Client Experience Cloud portals (customer or partner communities). β’ Strong expertise in Git and GitHub: branching, merging, rebasing, conflict resolution, pull requests and repository administration. β’ Demonstrated experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions (YAML workflows, reusable workflows, runners, environments, secrets). β’ Deep working knowledge of Client CLI (sf/sfdx), Metadata API, package.xml, destructive changes and source-tracked development. β’ Working knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Maven and the Mule Maven Plugin. β’ Solid understanding of Client metadata types, deployment limitations and dependencies (profiles, permission sets, flows, Apex, LWC, custom objects). β’ Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, Python or Node.js for automation. β’ Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and with tools such as Jira or Azure Boards. β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications and certifications β’ Client Certified Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder or Administrator. β’ Client DevOps-related credentials or Copado / Gearset / AutoRABIT experience (helpful for migration or hybrid toolchains). β’ MuleSoft Certified Developer β Level 1 or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect. β’ GitHub Actions or GitHub Administration certification. β’ Experience with Client DevOps Center, unlocked packages and second-generation packaging (2GP). β’ Experience deploying to CloudHub 2.0 or Runtime Fabric, and with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform). β’ Experience with automated testing tools such as Provar, Selenium or Copado Robotic Testing. β’ Background in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, public sector) with SOX or similar change-control requirements.
