Job Summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support strategic CRM initiatives for Meta. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce platform development, Lightning technologies, integrations, and scalable enterprise solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance Salesforce applications that drive business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
• Build and customize Salesforce applications across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Platform.
• Develop REST/SOAP APIs and integrate Salesforce with enterprise applications using MuleSoft or other middleware.
• Implement automation using Flows, Process Builder (legacy), Approval Processes, and Workflow Rules.
• Develop reusable Lightning components and optimize application performance.
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend Salesforce best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, and Business Analysts in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Perform code reviews and maintain high-quality development standards.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and Salesforce development best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Apex
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Aura Components
  • Visualforce
  • SOQL & SOSL
  • Salesforce APIs
  • Flows
• Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchy.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DX.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Experience Cloud (Community Cloud).
• Knowledge of MuleSoft integration.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud or Data Cloud.
• Familiarity with Copado or Gearset deployment tools.
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and Platform Events.
• Exposure to AI capabilities such as Salesforce Einstein or Agentforce.
• Knowledge of CRM Analytics (Tableau CRM).
