UPDATE:
- The manager will also consider Salesforce Administrators out of Capital Markets environments.
- This is largely a support position.
- We need a senior (10+ years) Salesforce Business Analyst with experience supporting SFDC projects in Capital Markets Environments.
- Candidates must be able to do both Traditional BA work as well as Troubleshooting/support Salesforce issues.
- Candidates must have Strong experience as a Salesforce Technical Business Analyst within financial services (asset management, private equity, hedge fund, or similar) as well as a Solid understanding of Salesforce configuration, automation logic, Apex concepts, and Flows.
Candidates Must Also Have Recent Capital Markets/Trading Experience – Not Retail Or Commercial Banking.

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Fundraising and Investor Relations stakeholders to gather, document, and refine detailed business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions in collaboration with developers and architects.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and support Salesforce production issues, including pipeline and workflow challenges.
- Work with Apex, Salesforce Flows, and platform configuration to understand system logic and recommend enhancements.
- Evaluate current Salesforce setup at Fortress and identify opportunities to optimize workflows, automation, and reporting.
- Create user stories, process flows, BRDs, and functional specifications aligned with Agile delivery practices.
- Act as a liaison between business users, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure solutions meet operational and regulatory requirements.
- Support data integrity initiatives, investor onboarding workflows, and CRM enhancements tied to fundraising activities.
- Participate in solution design sessions, UAT coordination, and release planning.
- Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement recommendations to enhance platform stability and user experience.
- Strong experience as a Salesforce Technical Business Analyst within financial services (asset management, private equity, hedge fund, or similar).
- Solid understanding of Salesforce configuration, automation logic, Apex concepts, and Flows.
- Experience troubleshooting pipeline or workflow issues within Salesforce environments.
- Proven ability to write high-quality business requirements and collaborate closely with engineering teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to quickly learn complex business processes and stakeholder needs.
- Experience supporting Fundraising, Investor Relations, or CRM platforms in alternative asset management.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models and stakeholder workshops.
- Background working in regulated financial environments with strong attention to data governance and process controls.
