What to Expect
We are seeking an energetic, mission-drivenSales Trainer to elevate our regional sales and delivery advisors. Tesla does not use traditional dealership models; we educate, inspire, and transition the world to sustainable energy. In this role, you will be responsible for training our frontline staff to communicate complex automotive technology, autonomous driving features, clearly and passionately, transforming everyday interactions into brand-advocacy experiences.What You’ll Do
- Mission-Driven Onboarding: Design and deliver onboarding experiences for new Advisors, deeply instilling Tesla’s mission, unique direct-to-consumer sales model, and product ecosystems.
- Technical & Product Training: Simplify highly complex technology (e.g., Full Self-Driving hardware, battery chemistry, OTA software updates) into high-impact, customer-facing value propositions.
- Experiential & Test Drive Coaching: Train staff on how to deliver a flawless, educational test-drive experience that prioritizes safety, vehicle capability awareness, and zero-pressure sales techniques.
- Omnichannel & CRM Enablement: Upskill teams on managing the digital pipeline, coordinating delivery logistics, and navigating internal software platforms to ensure a seamless order-to-delivery journey.
- Compliance & Regional Regulations: Ensure all teams are trained on local automotive sales regulations, EV incentives, and safety protocols for vehicle handling and charging infrastructure.
- Performance Consulting: Partner with Store Managers to shadow sales floors, audit customer interaction metrics, identify regional performance gaps, and deploy targeted coaching.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 5+ years in Sales Training, Sales Enablement, or high-performance retail management.
- Experience withinautomotive technology, clean energy, luxury consumer tech (e.g., Apple Retail), or premium hospitality is highly preferred.
- Key Skills & Competencies:
- Tech-Savvy Facilitator: Ability to learn cutting-edge technology rapidly and teach it to diverse learning styles using both digital and hands-on methods.
- Agile Communicator: Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly iterating environment where product specs and software features change weekly.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of a zero-negotiation, education-first retail sales philosophy.
- Strong project management skills to coordinate training rollouts across multiple store locations.
- Requirements:
- Retail sales experience preferred. Consistent Top sales track record.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (essential for conducting test-drive training).
- Ability to travel regionally up to 25%-50% to conduct onsite store training workshops.
