Where You’ll Work

This position is required to work on-site in our Glenview, IL office most days. Everyone receives 3 flexible remote days per month. And, we offer half-day Fridays – every Friday! 

Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support Supervisor at Guarantee Trust Life! This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at coaching employees, managing day-to-day service operations, and building a collaborative, accountable team. You’ll guide a dynamic group that supports our agents through inbound telephone, email, chat, and fax inquiries while helping the team deliver timely, accurate, and consistent service.

As a supervisor, you’ll set priorities, monitor service levels, coach performance, resolve escalated issues, and improve workflows. You’ll also strengthen the team’s knowledge of agent onboarding, quoting, and insurance product servicing, while partnering across the organization to support agents and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the sales support team
• Support carrier contracting
• Reporting
• Manage inter-team communication (training, sales, etc.) in partnership with sales support team members
• Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
• Collaborate on the development of sales support strategies
• Proactively identify deficiencies and efficiencies and solutions to improve processes
• Ability to handle and de-escalate escalation calls  

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
• Capability to work independently and make decisions within a cross-departmental team
• 1+ years of leading a department, sales support or customer service preferred
• 4+ years in customer service or sales, insurance industry experience preferred
• Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, which is key to supporting interactions with our internal departments, agents, and carrier partners
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• College degree preferred and/or equivalent experience

Experience that will give you a head start on our team:

• Experience in a call-center environment
• Understanding customer objections and how to resolve customer issues

The pay range for this role is$75,000-$85,000 / year. The pay range provided is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects potential pay for the job grade for this role at the time of this posting. Compensation will depend on several factors such as specific competencies, relevant education and experience, qualifications, and industry certifications. Compensation ranges are subject to change and may be higher or lower than the range described above.
