SUMMARY
TheSales & Channel Analyst will support the growth and development of Amphenol CDI’s global distribution network through a combination of data analytics, commercial support, partner engagement, and program execution.
This role is designed for a highly analytical, motivated individual who wants to learn the business from both a data and commercial perspective. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with numbers and identifying trends but also possesses the communication skills, curiosity, and personality to build relationships with distributor partners, customers, and internal teams.
The Distribution & Channel Analyst will develop a strong understanding of distributor performance, pricing, inventory, quoting activity, customer demand, and market trends while helping translate that information into commercial action. The position will also have direct exposure to distributor partners through regular communication, business reviews, site visits, and industry events.
As experience and knowledge grow, the individual will take increasing ownership of distributor relationships, strategy, partner development, and the overall distribution program. This position provides significant exposure to Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and senior leadership and is intended to develop broader commercial and business leadership capabilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Analyze distributor sales, bookings, inventory, quoting activity, margins, and other key performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Excel, Salesforce, SAP, and other available data sources.
- Turn data into actionable insights and recommendations that support distribution strategy, pricing, inventory, and sales growth.
- Work directly with distributor partners to understand their business, customers, opportunities, inventory needs, and areas where CDI can better support growth.
- Prepare for and participate in distributor business reviews, including performance reporting, opportunity pipelines, inventory discussions, and follow-up actions.
- Support distributor pricing, price lists, agreements, program requirements, and annual pricing activities.
- Partner with Inside Sales, Regional Sales Managers, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations to support distributor opportunities and customer requirements.
- Support the identification, evaluation, onboarding, and development of new distribution partners as CDI continues to expand its channel network.
- Develop relationships with distributor sales teams through regular communication, training, site visits, and industry events, taking on greater customer-facing responsibility as experience grows.
- Continuously look for ways to improve the distribution program, automate reporting, improve visibility, identify new growth opportunities, and crush the numbers.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in analytics, sales, distribution, business development, or another commercial function preferred.
- Strong analytical aptitude with an interest in using data to understand business performance and influence decisions.
- Experience with Excel and data analysis preferred; exposure to Power BI or similar visualization tools is highly desirable.
- Exposure to CRM or ERP systems such as Salesforce or SAP is a plus.
- Industry experience is beneficial but not required. More important is a demonstrated interest in developing both analytical and customer-facing commercial skills.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Conversational in any other language is a plus.

- Developing or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an interest in developing strong Power BI capabilities.
- Ability to identify trends and communicate what the data means from a business perspective.

- Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to both internal teams and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, Power BI, and SharePoint is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer. They frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds. - ASTM F–2412–2005, ANSI Z41–1999, or ANSI Z41–1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
- Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
- Hearing protection in specific locations.
- Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.

SALARY INFORMATION:
According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between $71,000 to $80,000 annually. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline. When extending an offer, Amphenol CDI considers various factors such as the position's responsibilities, scope of work, candidate's work experience, education/training, essential skills, internal pay equity, and market considerations.
