Part Time Sales Assistant (30 hours a week) - Fixed Term Contract until July 2027 - Plymouth (PL7 1SR) - Plumb Centre

As a Part Time Sales Assistantbased in our Plymouthbranch, you’ll be responsible for:  

• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations
• Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business
• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers
• General warehouse duties including picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets

This is a Part Time Fixed Term Contract until July 2027 working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.00pm.

• Plumbing & Heating knowledge is ideal
• Previous Face to Face sales and customer service experience is essential
• The ability to deliver outstanding customer service
• To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
