We are rebel watchmakers with a purpose. Established in 1854 as the Waterbury Clock Company, we took a traditional European watchmaking and layered American industrial ingenuity on top. That is when we began our journey to disrupt a 300 year old industry. Timex took mantle clocks made from wood and made them out of metal and made them faster and affordable for everyone. We took the pocket watch, added a strap and put it on your wrist. Today our design lab in Milan designs the most beautiful watches for consumers around the world. Come join our team, make a difference and wear watches from Timex and some of the biggest brands in the world.

The Sales Analyst turns Amazon sales, traffic, inventory, and marketplace pricing data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision making and help the team achieve sales revenue, gross profit, and gross margin objectives on the Amazon marketplace. The role also supports Timex brand price integrity through monitoring of Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) compliance utilizing third-party marketplace monitoring tools, including TrackStreet.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and distributes recurring sales reporting (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) for the Amazon business - ordered and shipped revenue, units, glance views, conversion, and average selling price - across Timex and Guess for Amazon US, Amazon Canada, and licensed brands such as Nautica.

  • Pulls and consolidates sell-through and traffic data from Amazon Vendor Central (Retail Analytics, Brand Analytics) into standardized recaps, scorecards, and dashboards for the eCommerce team and sales leadership.

  • Analyzes sales performance at the ASIN, collection, and brand level versus plan, prior year, and forecast; identifies opportunities and risks and recommends actions to maximize sales and minimize liabilities.

  • Analyzes item productivity and key item performance metrics (velocity, conversion, in-stock impact); recommends assortment actions including top/bottom performer reviews and items to add, grow, or exit.

  • Tracks and analyzes promotional and event performance (Prime Day, holiday, deals, coupons, price promotions), quantifying sales lift and margin impact and recommending adjustments to maximize future events.

  • Monitors and analyzes Amazon advertising performance, measuring the impact of media investments on sales, traffic, conversion, profitability, and key performance indicators; provides reporting and recommendations to improve advertising effectiveness and overall business results.

  • Supports sales forecasting for the Amazon business: partners with Demand Planning on re-forecasting, event forecasts, and annual planning, comparing actual results to forecast and calling out gaps.

  • Prepares presentation-ready analysis and summaries for monthly business reviews and quarterly account market meetings with sales leadership, focusing on opportunities and risks to the sales plan.

  • Monitors Timex Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) compliance using TrackStreet and other approved monitoring tools; identifies pricing violations across online marketplaces, prepares exception reporting, escalates violations to internal stakeholders and authorized partners, and provides analysis on pricing trends and reseller activity.

  • Monitors sales-impacting operational metrics (in-stock rates, fill rates, Buy Box ownership, third-party activity, and MAP compliance) and flags issues affecting revenue, pricing integrity, and brand equity for follow-up with the appropriate teams.

  • Maintains and improves reporting templates and dashboards; identifies opportunities to automate and streamline recurring reports.

  • Responds to ad hoc sales analysis requests from eCommerce and sales leadership with accuracy and quick turnaround.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field of study.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets); proficient in PowerPoint and Word. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus.

  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central, including Retail Analytics and Brand Analytics, strongly preferred.

  • Experience analyzing Amazon advertising performance metrics and digital marketing KPIs, including ROAS, ACOS, TACOS, CTR, CPC, impressions, attributed sales, and conversion metrics is a plus.

  • Experience analyzing marketplace pricing, reseller activity, and/or Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) compliance programs. Experience with TrackStreet or similar MAP monitoring platforms strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills; able to turn large data sets into clear insights and recommendations.

  • Ability to think independently and exercise strong attention to detail.
