About the Job:
As aSafety Specialistis responsible for inspecting work sites, enforcing health and safety regulations, and training workers to prevent accidents and injuries. This role ensures all operational activities, materials, and equipment meet company, industry, and regulatory safety standards. The Safety Specialist partners with field leadership to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and promote a proactive safety culture across all projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect job sites regularly to identify hazards and verify compliance with safety standards
- Enforce company, OSHA, and industry regulations across all work activities
- Lead and document safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre‑task briefings
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
- Manage safety gear, PPE distribution, and equipment inspections to ensure readiness
- Support field teams in implementing safe work practices and resolving safety concerns
- Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation
- Monitor work procedures and environmental conditions to prevent potential risks
- Assist in developing safety policies, procedures, and job hazard analyses
- Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, communication, and field engagement
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in safety, construction, utilities, or related field
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather and on varying terrain
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, and climbing
- Working knowledge of OSHA and general safety regulations
- Experience with job‑site inspections, hazard recognition, and incident reporting
- Strong communication skills for training and safety meetings
- Ability to maintain accurate safety documentation and records
- Basic computer proficiency for reports and digital forms
- Preferred: OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, or similar safety certifications
Work Authorization:
- You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

- We offer an excellent benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401k with company contribution, paid time off and paid holidays.
- Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $32.00 an hour based on experience.
