The Safety Administrator at Rogers-O'Brien Construction plays a pivotal role in supporting the Mission Critical Safety Leadership Team. This position is responsible for managing key administrative functions such as documentation, data tracking, and communication across various active projects. The role ensures that safety systems, records, reporting, and compliance processes are consistently executed in high-risk, fast-paced data center environments, allowing safety professionals to dedicate their efforts to field activities and strategic initiatives.

This role is crucial in maintaining organized and accurate safety documentation, ensuring compliance, and supporting the continuous improvement of safety processes and templates.
The project is based in Turkey, Texas.
Skills & Qualification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) to facilitate efficient communication and reporting
Strong organizational and document control skills to manage and maintain accurate safety documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with the RO and Trade Partner Leadership
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely delivery of safety documentation and reports
High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality to uphold the integrity of sensitive safety information
Professional demeanor that fosters trust and respect among team members and stakeholders
Experience supporting construction or mission-critical safety teams enhances the effectiveness of administrative support
Responsibilities
Maintain and manage safety documentation, including Site-Specific Safety Plans, policies, and training records, ensuring they are current and properly versioned
Ensure accurate distribution of safety documents to project teams and trade partners to facilitate seamless communication and compliance
Prepare and format safety reports, presentations, and correspondence to support communication across teams
Serve as a point of contact for safety department inquiries, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders
Coordinate with project teams and vendors on safety-related administrative matters to ensure alignment and collaboration
Support planning and logistics for safety training events, stand-downs, and recognition events to promote a culture of safety
Assist with program administration of the Project Safety Committee and coordinate onboarding logistics for new Safety Managers
The Safety Department Administrator supports the Mission Critical Safety Leadership Team by managing administrative, documentation, data tracking, and communication functions across multiple active projects. This role ensures safety systems, records, reporting, and compliance processes are organized, accurate, and
consistently executed in fast-paced, high-risk data center environments. By handling these critical functions, the Administrator enables safety professionals to focus on field activities and strategic initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in construction or safety
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Strong organizational and document control skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience supporting construction or mission-critical safety teams
• Experience with construction project management software (Procore preferred)
• Familiarity with OSHA construction standards and recordkeeping requirements
• Knowledge of safety terminology and construction industry practices
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
• OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
