TheInpatientRegisteredNurse(RN)Will:

• Providedirectpatientcareutilizingthenursingprocess,includingassessment,planning,implementation,andevaluationofcare.
• Collaboratewithphysiciansandinterdisciplinaryteammemberstocoordinatesafe,high-qualitypatientcare.
• Monitorpatientconditions,identifychangesinstatus,andinterveneappropriatelytosupportpositiveoutcomes.
• Administermedicationsandtreatmentsinaccordancewithestablishedpolicies,procedures,andclinicalstandards.
• Educatepatientsandfamiliesregardingdiagnoses,treatments,dischargeplanning,andhealthmanagement.
• Maintainaccurateandtimelydocumentationincompliancewithregulatoryandorganizationalrequirements.
• Participateinqualityimprovementinitiatives,patientsafetyefforts,andsharedgovernanceactivities.
• Supportacultureofcompassion,professionalism,teamwork,andrespectforpatients,families,andcolleagues.

RequiredSkills

• SuccessfullypassedtheBoardofRegistrationinNursingExaminationandislicensedintheCommonwealthofMassachusetts.
• CurrentAmericanHeartAssociationHealthcareProviderCPRcertificationrequired.
