Cashier Responsibilities:The Cashier receives and processes payment for products or services sold by the dealership.Excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to effectively communicate via face-to-face and by phoneExcellent customer services skillsComputer proficiencyAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal without digital supportAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percentagesAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissionsAbility to understand and follow work rules and procedureAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructionsAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesAbility to interact well with othersExceptional attention to detailWorks well in a team environmentAble to work with a diverse group of people Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; and six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
