As the Retail Training and Communications Coordinator on the Operational Solutions team, you will support the delivery of NAM Retail Training and Communications across our store network. This is a coordination-heavy role at the centre of two connected disciplines – training and communications – working closely with the managers and program managers on Retail Training and Communications – NAM to keep programs organized, on schedule, and effectively delivered to stores.
This role requires exceptional organization, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple training and communication projects at once in a fast-paced retail environment.

Meet Your Future Team:
The Operational Solutions team designs the ideal conditions for stores to get everything done. We act as a cornerstone of our channel team, and we are the conduit between the retail stores and the cross-functional partners at HQ. Based at HQ, Operational Solutions is responsible for representing stores in cross-functional projects; partnering to create clear, concise store communications, implement programs to stores, develop store operating frameworks and define recurring processes.If you were the Retail Training and Communications Coordinator, Operational Solutions now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Partnering with Training & Communications Program Managers to gather information, track action items, and ensure alignment on projects and programs, both initiative and cyclical
- Supporting the coordination and delivery of NAM Retail Training initiatives, including core and cyclical training programs
- Coordinating NAM Retail Communications, ensuring stores receive clear, accurate, and timely information
- Supporting the planning and logistics of training and learning events, including timelines, milestones, and on-the-ground coordination
- Maintaining accurate data set for the NAM Retail Training & Communications team’s day-to-day programs and initiatives
- Partnering with the Senior Manager, Retail Training and Communications – NAM and cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, track action items, and ensure alignment on projects

Are you the next Retail Training and Communications Coordinator, Operational Solutions?
- You are fluent in English and French (spoken and written)
- You have a degree or post-secondary education in business, communications, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- You have 2+ years of experience in coordination, communications, or project coordination
- You have 2+ years of experience working in a retail environment
- You are exceptionally organized, with an eye for detail and accuracy
- You are open and approachable, with a customer-service focused mentality
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- You can multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage priorities while working in a fast-paced environment
- You have strong project coordination skills and are comfortable tracking timelines, tasks, and deliverables
- Experience planning or supporting learning events – including the logistics, lead-up, and milestones involved – is a strong asset
- Experience working within a communications or training function is a strong asset
- You are proficient in tools like Excel, AI tools, PowerPoint, Word, and Smartsheet; experience with Zipline or similar employee communication platforms is a strong asset
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity

Compensation:
- The salary range for this role is: CAD$82,000 - CAD$108,000
