As an Associate Director, Global Procurement Direct  you will drive strategic sourcing and category management for Bioprocessing raw materials, leveraging market knowledge, supplier partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver cost, quality, innovation, and supply chain improvements while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

What you will do

• Strategic Category Management:Leadsourcing,tendering,contractnegotiations,andsuppliermanagementforrawmaterials,leveragingmarketintelligencetobuildaresilientandcompetitivesupplybasethatsupportsinnovation,quality,andbusinessgrowth.
• Supply Risk & Business Continuity:Proactivelyidentifysupplychainrisks,drivemitigationstrategies,andleadcross-functionalresponseplanstoensurecontinuityofsupply,minimisedisruption,andprotectbusinessperformance.
• Stakeholder Partnership:Actasatrustedadvisortobusinessleadersandkeystakeholders,providingmarketexpertise,sourcinginsight,andstrategicguidancetosupportnewopportunitiesandinformeddecision-making.
• Supplier Performance & Development:Buildstrongsupplierpartnerships,driveperformanceimprovements,reviewsuppliereffectiveness,andcollaboratewithsitestoresolvequality,service,andsupplychallenges.
• Procurement Excellence:Supporttheimplementationofglobalprocurementstrategies,policies,processes,anddigitaltools,whiledrivingsupplierperformancemeasurementandcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.

• Basic understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills,withtheabilitytoengagestakeholdersatalllevels,buildconsensus,andcommunicateeffectivelyacrossglobalteams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities,abletoassesscomplexchallenges,identifyopportunities,anddeliverpractical,data-drivensolutions.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong global relationships,collaboratingeffectivelywithinternalstakeholders,suppliers,andexternalpartnersacrossdiversemarketsandcultures.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic procurement disciplines,includingcategorymanagement,supplierrelationshipmanagement,contractmanagement,commercialnegotiations,andprocurementsystemsandtools.
