QA Engineer Int - UI, API and Manual testing (BYDS)

Scope:

• We are seeking a QA Engineer with 3–5 years of professional experience to join our team supporting enterprise supply chain, order management, and warehouse management systems. This role is focused on validating complex, distributed integrations — not just UI or single-service testing. You'll design and execute test strategies for message-driven systems, data replication pipelines, and cross-system data consistency, working closely with developers to catch issues before they reach production. 

What you will do:

• Design, write, and execute manual and automated test plans for Java-based services and their integration points  

• Validate message-driven workflows and asynchronous processing pipelines (e.g., JMS/ActiveMQ), including message ordering, delivery guarantees, error handling, and failure/recovery scenarios  

• Test data replication and synchronization accuracy across systems, including verifying trail file processing, replication lag, and conflict resolution outcomes  

• Build and maintain automated regression suites covering API, integration, and data-consistency test cases  

• Perform root-cause analysis on data discrepancies between source and target systems 

• Track, document, and prioritize defects, working with engineering to verify fixes  

• Maintain test environments and test data sets that reflect production-like integration scenarios 

What we are looking for:

• 3–5years of professional QA/test engineering experience, with meaningful time spent testing backend or integration systems (not exclusively UI/manual testing) 

• Hands-on experience testing message-oriented middleware (verifying queues, topics, consumers, message flow under failure conditions) 

• Practical experience validating data replication or CDC pipelines (bonus for Oracle GoldenGate) 

• Working SQL (Oracle preferred) proficiency, including writing queries to verify data consistency across source and target databases  

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar) 

• Solid understanding of version control (Git) and collaborative QA/Dev workflows 

Additional requirements:

• Experience testing systems that process events or messages asynchronously, including handling duplicate or out-of-order messages 

• Experience with TestComplete or similar UI/functional test automation tools 

• Familiarity with ElectronJS applications
