Senior Lead Electrical EngineerKBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entireasset
lifecycle.Theseincludeworld-classlicensedprocesstechnologies,differentiatedadvisoryservices,deeptechnicaldomain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.
Aspartoftheelectricalengineeringteamyouwillbeinvolvedinthedesignofelectricalsystemsfortheoilandgasand/or power including renewable energies industries. This may be a conceptual study or front-end engineering design (FEED) or a design execution involving, the procurement of all equipment and detailed drawings for the construction and commissioning of an entire facility.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a leader in applying Cost Competitive Execution techniques and develop the most cost- effective total project solution for the discipline engineering workÂ
- Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projects
- Project set-up, developing control-level schedules, progress reporting and project close-out
- Manage and lead large teams
- Act as mentors for young and middle level engineers and lead / senior designers
- Develop and deliver technical training on various engineering topics
- Develop and review estimates and schedules, progress reports, including workforce forecasts
- Performance management of project / department personnel
- Establish, track, and monitor material key quantities; provide analysis and forecastsÂ
- Develop and review specifications, including design criteria
- Prepare Material Requisition, perform offer evaluation, TBE, vendor drawing review, attending FAT for all major electrical equipment / packages
- Ability to perform / review complex engineering calculations including Power System Studies using ETAP/SKM
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials
- Effort-hour estimating and staff forecasting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree regular in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- 10 years of related experience, with average experience of 20+ years
- Hands on experience in Oil & Gas / Industrial projects
- Develop overall power distribution scheme and SLDs for large industrial projects
- Expert knowledge of electrical equipment like MV/LV Switchgears, transformers, UPS etc.
- Advance level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders

- Experience in working in multi-cultural environment
- Practical field experience
