Project Manager

EPAM is running a multi-year cloud migration initiative for a major Greek enterprise, relocating IT infrastructure from dozens of production sites to Google Cloud. We're seeking an On-siteProject Manager to participate in the on-site discovery phase and drive technical discovery efforts at client locations throughout Greece. This position blends direct project coordination, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Direct the discovery team on-site through daily planning, task allocation, and progress check-ins
• Ensure the site discovery scope is fulfilled in line with established standards and exit criteria
• Maintain ownership of the site dossier, confirming its completeness before the team departs
• Serve as the primary contact for the client's site management throughout the visit
• Organize and prepare each site visit alongside the client site owner, covering scheduling, access, safety needs, and stakeholder availability
• Manage stakeholder interviews and verify the site's IT landscape
• Monitor and address on-site issues and risks, escalating to program management when necessary
• Transfer site findings to the assessment and planning team
• Provide status updates and effort actuals to the Service Delivery Manager
• Wrap up the visit with the client site owner and feed lessons learned into the discovery runbook

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in project or delivery management within IT infrastructure, preferably in a migration or transformation program
• Background in leading on-site discovery, assessment, or audit work; familiarity with industrial or Operational Technology settings is a plus
• Capability to guide small technical teams on-site and represent EPAM before client site management
• Practical understanding of infrastructure and application environments adequate for coordinating discovery work and confirming results
• Solid documentation abilities and consistent adherence to defined standards and exit criteria
• Fluency in Greek and B2+ level English
• Readiness to travel frequently across Greece, including the islands
