Onboarding Specialist (Temporary Contract)

About the Job

The Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the onboarding process for new team members. This position involves coordinating with various programs to ensure recruitment efforts are practical and quality is maintained in the New Hire Orientation and Training Day 1 processes.

As an Onboarding Specialist, You Will…

• Set clear expectations to ensure a smooth onboarding process.  
• Engage with new hires to address their initial questions and concerns.  
• Oversee attendance at new hire orientations and Training Day 1, and assist in preparing for the new hire experience.  
• Provide support for facility access and Dayforce credentials as needed.  
• Update rosters and schedules for new hires in collaboration with the recruitment team.  
• Contribute to the development and implementation of engagement activities for new hires, collaborating with trainers and concierge leads on Day 1 attendance.  
• Work with various programs to disseminate important information as needed.  

As an Onboarding Specialist, You Need…

• High school diploma or equivalent (required). 
• Experience in comprehensive end-to-end recruitment processes.  
• Experience in Google Sheets and Microsoft Office.
• A resilient mindset with the ability to adapt to changing demands. 
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.  
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.  
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with individuals at all levels and diverse backgrounds.  
• Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to efficiently manage a high volume of work.
