Introduction:

The Senior Credit Analyst plays a critical role in supporting GlobalFoundries' financial health by evaluating customer creditworthiness, mitigating credit risk, and enablingbusinessgrowth.ThispositionpartnerscloselywithSales,Finance,Operations,Collections,andBusinessUnitstakeholderstomakeinformedcreditdecisions,driveprocessimprovements,andstrengthencreditgovernanceacrossaglobalorganization.

YourJob:

• Conductcreditassessmentsandfinancialanalysistoevaluatecustomercreditworthinessandriskexposure.
• Recommendappropriatecredittermsthatbalanceriskmitigationwithbusinessobjectivesandrevenuegrowth.
• Reviewandprocesscreditholdreleaserequestsinaccordancewithcompanypoliciesandcontrols.
• Prepareandmaintainreportingformastercreditexposure,creditutilization,andkeycreditperformanceindicators.
• Develop,enhance,andmaintaincreditscoringmodelstosupporteffectivecreditdecision-making.
• PartnerwithCommercialFinance,BusinessUnitFinance,Sales,DataGovernance,Collections,andOperationsteamsacrossmultipleregions.
• Monitorcustomercreditlimitsandproactivelyidentifypotentialrisksandmitigationstrategies.
• Driveprocessimprovementsthroughautomation,digitalization,AI,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
• EnsureadherencetoGlobalFoundriesCreditPolicy,internalcontrols,andauditrequirements.
• Supportspecialprojects,includingsystemenhancements,UserAcceptanceTesting(UAT),andprocesstransformationinitiatives.
• PerformallactivitiesinasafeandresponsiblemannerandsupportallEnvironmental,Health,Safety&Securityrequirementsandprograms.
• Workonadditionalprojectsandassignmentsasrequired.

OtherResponsibilities:

• Provideinsightsandrecommendationstosupportstrategicbusinessdecisions.
• Collaboratewithcross-functionalstakeholderstoresolvecomplexcredit-relatedissues.
• Supportcontinuousimprovementinitiativesthatenhanceefficiency,scalability,andeffectivenesswithintheCreditfunction.
• Contributetothedevelopmentofbestpracticesandstandardizedprocessesacrosstheorganization.
• Maintainastrongcontrolenvironmentwhiledeliveringexcellentinternalcustomerservice.

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelor'sDegreeinFinance,Accounting,Economics,BusinessAdministration,orarelateddiscipline.
• Minimum5+yearsofexperienceinCreditRisk,CreditAnalysis,AccountsReceivable,FinanceOperations,orarelatedfield.
• Strongknowledgeoffinancialstatementanalysisandcreditriskassessmentmethodologies.
• Experienceevaluatingcustomercreditworthinessandmakingcreditrecommendations.
• Advancedanalyticalandproblem-solvingskills.
• Strongcommunicationandstakeholdermanagementskills.
• ProficiencyinMicrosoftExcelandfinancialreportingtools.
• Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithglobalteamsacrossmultipleregionsandtimezones.

PreferredQualifications:

• ProfessionalqualificationsuchasACCA,CPA,CFA,orequivalent.
• ExperienceworkinginamultinationalcorporationorSharedServicesenvironment.
• KnowledgeofERPsystemssuchasSAP,Oracle,orequivalent.
• Experiencewithautomation,AI-drivensolutions,andprocessimprovementinitiatives.
• Exposuretocreditscoringmodeldevelopmentandcreditanalytics.
• Experiencesupportingsystemimplementation,testing,ortransformationprojects.
