Amgen's Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) service supports over 13,000 desktop instances globally. We are seeking aSoftware Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions and cloud applications that enhance VDI operations and user experience.

You will work closely with service owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable solutions usingC#, .NET, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Graph API, and related technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications usingC# and .NET 8/10
• Build and integrateREST APIs andMicrosoft Graph API solutions
• Develop serverless applications usingAzure Functions
• Create workflow automations usingAzure Logic Apps
• Design and manage solutions usingAzure Cosmos DB andBlob Storage
• Implement CI/CD pipelines usingAzure DevOps
• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions usingPower BI
• Manage source code usingGit and perform code reviews
• Troubleshoot, support, and continuously improve production applications
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures

Basic Qualifications

One of the following:

• Master's / Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, with5-9years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency inC# and modern .NET development
• Experience withREST APIs,Microsoft Graph API, and cloud technologies
• Knowledge ofLINQ, JSON, asynchronous programming, and software design principles
• Experience withGit and end-to-end software development lifecycle
• Understanding desktop-system lifecycle, endpoint management, and virtual desktop technologies.
• Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting distributed cloud solutions.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies at a rapid pace.

Technical Skills

• Languages & Frameworks:C#, .NET 8/10, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API
• Azure Services:Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Logic Apps, API Connections, Blob Storage
• Tools:Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, NuGet, Postman, Power BI, SharePoint, Lucid chart

Work Hours

This position operates on thesecond shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST. Candidates must be willing and able to work during these hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
