Senior Consultant - LNG & Green Fuels

What You Should Have

We are seekingexperienced Energy Professionals to join AFRY’s dynamic team and deliver innovativeLNG supply andenergy solutions to our clients. You will be involved infeasibility studies, conceptual design, technical due diligence, andbasic engineering forLNG and LNG-to-Power projects across Asia.

The role also involvesleading conceptual designs foronshore LNG terminals and ensuring smooth integration withpower plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadfeasibility studies,conceptual designs, andtechnical due diligence for LNG import terminals.
• Deliverengineering deliverables, includingPFDs, P&IDs, HMBs, and detailedprocess calculations.
• PrepareITB andEPC bidding documents as per local and international standards.
• Collaborate closely withFEED/EPC contractors, reviewing proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements and industry best practices.
• Develop and deliverhigh-quality technical reports and maintain effective communication with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree inChemical Engineering from a recognized university (Master’s preferred).
• 5–10 years of process engineering/design experience inLNG import terminal projects.
• Proven expertise in:
• LNG terminal process design, including topside equipment, LNG storage tanks, regasification systems, and BOG handling systems.
• Usingprocess modeling tools and performinghydraulic and process calculations.
• Developing and reviewingPFDs, P&IDs, HMBs, and related technical documentation.
• SupportingHAZOP, HAZID, SIL assessments and coordinating multi-disciplinary deliverables.
• Good knowledge ofinternational process design standards andsafety best practices.
• Hands-on experience withAspen HYSYS (experience with other simulation tools is a plus).
• Strongreport writing, analytical, andEnglish communication skills.
• Experience working withreputed engineering firms orinternational consulting companies is preferred.
