Summary of job description:

The Associate I, PDT is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the PDT laboratories and process activities. The Associate I will perform routine upstream, downstream and drug product formulation process steps to support projects and will provide support for process characterization and formulation development activities.

This position is based in our Framingham location and typically has a 5-day on-site expectation.

Key responsibilities:

• Support upstream tissue culture, downstream virus purification and drug product formulation activities within the PDT laboratory.

• Perform routine laboratory and pilot lab process steps under supervision, including preparation, equipment set-up, sampling, cleaning and documentation.

• Perform general laboratory housekeeping tasks, including maintaining stock levels of laboratory consumables and preparation of reagents while executing good documentation practices.

• Support general laboratory upkeep, including ensuring the laboratory is clean, disposal of waste, sample storage and equipment monitoring.

• When required, operate in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and company procedures.

• Work in cross-functional teams with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Facilities and Engineering, Analytical Development and Quality Assurance.

• Ensure effective, high-quality, timely and appropriate documentation in laboratory notebooks.

Other responsibilities:

• Participate with other members of the PDT team in the preparation and purification of viruses, thereby gaining both theoretical and practical knowledge of upstream and downstream processes.

• Support review of batch records, laboratory notebooks and GMP documentation as appropriate.

• Provide support to the facilities group when required.

• Practice and promote safe working habits and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.

Educational requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 0–2 year of related work experience.

Experience and skill requirement:

Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting is desired. Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is desired. Experience in cell culture, purification, chromatography or formulation would be beneficial. The successful candidate will have the ability to follow protocols and standard operating procedures and the ability to record data in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with procedures. The candidate should be self-motivated, organized, able to manage time effectively, communicate well, work independently and as part of a small team, and work flexibly to meet varying workloads.

Salary Range

Replimune is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $72,000 -$93,000.The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s unique set of qualifications, skills, and experience. Our current organizational needs also play a part in determining your final offer.

At Replimune, base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The selected candidate will be eligible for an annual performance incentive bonus, new hire equity, and ongoing performance-based equity.
