Python Developer - Remote in Spain

Anyone AI is recruiting experiencedPython Software Engineers for a series of paid, project-based engagements with aleading AI lab.

You’ll work on clearly scoped software engineering projects involving real-world codebases and development challenges. Projects may include debugging, feature development, refactoring, migrations, testing, and technical review.

This is a strong fit for experienced engineers looking forflexible, remote project work alongside other professional commitments.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong proficiency inPython

• Professional experience withJavaScript or TypeScript

• Working knowledge of at least one additional language such asJava, C#, or Go

• Backend or full-stack experience with production systems

• Experience with testing frameworks such aspytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing

• Ability to confidently navigate and debuglarge, multi-file codebases

• Experience withcode reviews, refactoring, and production migrations

• Advanced professional written proficiency inEnglish

• Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills

What You’ll Work On

Depending on the project, you may:

• Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi-file codebases

• Implement new backend or full-stack functionality

• Refactor and migrate existing systems

• Develop and extend unit and integration test suites

• Write clear technical specifications and reference implementations

• Review code and technical submissions for correctness and quality

• Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes

• Validate that requirements, code, tests, and expected outputs are aligned

Projects are individually scoped, allowing contributors to take on work based on theiravailability and expertise.

This is an independent consulting opportunity rather than a traditional full-time position. Contributors are compensated on aper-project basis, with estimated hourly rates based on the expected time required to complete each project.

You can choose projects according to your availability, manage your own schedule, use your own equipment, and continue working with other clients or employers, subject to any applicable contractual restrictions.
