Established in 1978 and nestled in the heart of the Yarra Valley with stunning vistas of the vineyard & surrounding hills, Oakridge Winery is one of Australia's most awarded wineries. The winery is internationally recognised as an outstanding producer of distinctive single vineyard wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. 

In 2023, Oakridge were awarded #1 in the Halliday Top 100 Wineries and Real Review Winery of the Year, and retained one chef’s hat from The Age Good Food Guide. 

The relaxed contemporary restaurant atmosphere is built on the panoramic views from vineyard to mountain ranges, allowing diners to fully immerse themselves in the stunning Yarra Valley. The vibrant kitchen garden also provides inspiration for our ever-evolving, hyper local, seasonal menu and supports our sustainability message that begins with the growing of our vines.

• Craft unforgettable experiences for our guests, whether it's an intimate lunch or a luxurious wedding event
• Dive into the world of food and wine with our comprehensive on-the-job training
• Enjoy variety in your week — bounce between refined daytime restaurant service and lively evening events and weddings
• Embrace the weekend warrior life with flexible schedules
• Bring your passion for people and creating moments that matter for our guests 
• Bonus points if you know your way around a wine list, but we're happy to teach you the ropes

The successful applicant will possess: 

• The ability to work in a team environment
• Genuine desire to learn, evolve and adapt in a fast paced environment
• A positive attitude and interest in exceptional customer service
• Flexible work schedule with the ability to work weekends and evening/late night shifts
• Professional, punctual and well-presented
• A current RSA 
• At least 2 years experience in customer service and/or hospitality and tourism
• Wine knowledge is beneficial, but not required
