Workplace Health Nutrition Specialist (Registered Dietitian)

About the Position

Join Mount Carmel Workplace Health and help individuals build healthier lifestyles through engaging workplace wellness programs. This flexible PRN position is ideal for a Registered Dietitian who enjoys health coaching, nutrition education, food demonstrations, preventive health screenings, and community-based wellness programming.

This role offers the opportunity to work independently with a variety of employer groups throughout Central Ohio while making a meaningful impact on employee health and well-being. During busy seasons, opportunities may be available 3-4 days per week with flexible scheduling based on program needs and your availability.

What You'll Do

As a Workplace Health Nutrition Specialist, you will:

• Deliver nutrition education programs, workshops, and wellness presentations.
• Provide individual health coaching and lifestyle counseling.
• Conduct healthy food demonstrations and food-related wellness activities.
• Support onsite biometric screening events and health fairs.
• Educate participants on health risks, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Collaborate with Workplace Health staff to develop creative and engaging wellness initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with employer groups and program participants.
• Assist with event setup, coordination, and follow-up activities as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, Community Health, or a related health field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) and Licensed Dietitian in Ohio.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently and engaging with divers e audiences.

Preferred

• Experience in nutrition counseling, health coaching, wellness programming, community health, outpatient nutrition, or employee wellness programs.
• Experience delivering group education or presentations.
• Strong organizational and technology skills.
