Job Summary

We are looking for a talentedRuby on Rails Developer to build, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing RESTful APIs, integrating third-party services, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications usingRuby on Rails.
• Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Write unit, integration, and functional tests.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency inRuby andRuby on Rails.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
• Experience with relational databases such asPostgreSQL orMySQL.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (Devise, JWT, OAuth).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.

• Experience with Redis and caching strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Experience developing enterprise web applications is preferred.
