As aProduction Controller, you will join our Portsmouth team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector.
You will play a key role in coordinating production activities within a low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment, supporting the delivery of advanced payload systems. Acting as the link between the shop floor, planning, and supply chain teams, you will ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery against programme objectives.

- Experience Level: 3+ years of experienceÂ
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and trackdaily production progress across manufacturing activities
- Coordinate betweenshop floor, planning, and supply chain teams
- Identify and reportproduction deviations, proposing mitigation and recovery plans
- Supportproduction reviews, audits, and reporting activities
- Ensure accurate tracking of work orders and manufacturing status withinERP systems
- Maintain clear communication across stakeholders to ensureon-time delivery
- Support continuous improvement ofproduction control processes
Required Skills:
- Proven experience inproduction control or shopfloor coordination roles
- Experience working inlow-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding ofproduction tracking and scheduling processes
- Experience usingSAP or equivalent ERP systems
- Ability to managemultiple priorities and stakeholders
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Required Qualifications:
- ABachelor’s orMaster’s degree inEngineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Experience inaerospace, defence, or other complex manufacturing industries
- Demonstrated experience inproduction planning, control, or coordination roles
Desirable Skills:
- Experience withinaerospace manufacturing or payload systems
- Familiarity withproduction audits and compliance processes
- Exposure tolean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
- Understanding ofend-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills when presenting technical information to engineers, customers, and project stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams delivering integrated engineering solutions.
- Proactive approach to learning, innovation, and continuous technical improvement.
