Manager - Accounts and Controlling

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant with 7 to10 years of post-qualification experience (Preferably manufacturing industry) to join our India Finance team as Sr. Manager – Accounts & Controlling. Reporting to the Head of Finance – India, the role will lead financial controllership, month-end closing, reporting, budgeting, taxation, audit, GST, vendor and payroll accounting, while supporting Global R&D and IT finance, including intercompany transactions and cross-charging activities.

What you will do

• Lead month-end closing, financial controlling and MIS reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and continuous process improvement through standardization and automation

• Drive statutory and internal audits, taxation, GST, transfer pricing and intercompany accounting, ensuring strong compliance and financial controls.

• Oversee payroll accounting, vendor management and vendor/employee payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance and effective controls.

• Deliver financial and commercial insights through performance reviews, COGS and variance analysis, product/customer profitability and pricing analysis.

• Support Global R&D and IT finance activities, including intercompany accounting and cross-charging to global entities in line with transfer pricing requirements.

• Partner with the CEO and CFO on cost optimization, profitability improvement, business performance and strategic decision-making.

What you bring

• 7–10 years of post-qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant, with strong experience in financial controllership, accounting, taxation and handling audit with big 4.

• Proven experience in month-end closure, MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial controls.

• Strong knowledge of transfer pricing, direct taxation, GST and intercompany accounting.

• Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with experience in COGS, pricing, product/customer profitability and cost optimization.

• Experience in finance transformation, automation and process improvement with working knowledge of ERP (SAP/Infor LN), Tally, Advanced Excel and Power BI.

• Experience working with global and cross-functional teams

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner with the CEO, Head of Finance and business leaders.
