Senior Transaction ManagerÂ
We are seeking aSenior Transaction Manager to join a JLL team responsible for executing a large volume and variety of real estate transactions that create enterprise value for one of JLL’s largest global technology clients — a Fortune 100 technology company — in partnership with the client’s internal real estate team. The positionis required to be based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY with some travelrequired to support site selection activities, face-to-facenegotiations and client / team interactions on a periodic basis.Â
Location:This role will be inSan Francisco, CAÂ or New York, NY; option for remote based on experience.

You will join a high performing, multi-disciplinary team to deliver Transaction Management solutions to one of JLL’s largest global technology clients.This client is known for pairing enormousscale with a fast-moving, founder-style culture — an ownership mentality, a healthy disregard for the impossible, and an unrelenting focus on the people who use its products. JLL’s team is expected tooperate with the same energy, transparency, and bias for action.Â
Overseeing a portfolio of sites,this position calls for ahighly energetic leader with excellent communication, portfoliomanagement and client relationship management skills. Comfortable in working towards achieving performance targets, you will be responsibleto deliver a range of real estate transaction solutions to a clientseeking both the consistency and innovation that come from aclosely-integrated partnership with JLL.Â
Critical responsibilities include (but not limited to):Â
Transaction Program ManagementÂ
Responsible for the Critical Lease Event pipeline in assigned area or specific locations – monitoring portfolio critical dates andidentifying optimization opportunities in liaison with other stakeholders, including active participation in strategic plan formation and implementation of the portfolio strategy to ensure ample time to execute on aligned strategiesÂ
Manage a dynamic and complex deal pipeline for a clientoperating at scale and speed, negotiating high-value, large-scale and complex lease transactions with precision and qualityÂ
Directly manage broker vendor partners to draft and negotiate Requests for Proposals (RFP), Letters of Intent (LOI), Leases, Subleases, Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSA), and License Agreements frominception to execution.Â
Ensure all due diligence and approval requirements are completed for each transaction (e.g. Tax, Risk,Accounting, Corporate Security, EHS, Anti-Corruption, etc.)Â
Draftbusiness case / corporate approval documentation, working with the client’s finance team to develop financial analysis for all operating expense (opex) and capital expense (capex) investments priorto commitments andmanage to deadlines.Â
Work with internal and external legal counsel in preparing,negotiating and executing all documentation relating to any transactionÂ
Support in preparation of monthly,quarterly and semi-annual business reports including highs, lows, process improvements, help needed and lessons learned; developadditional ad-hoc reports as requested by clientÂ
Coach and develop direct reports, including Transaction Managers, to reach their full potentialÂ
Supervise the execution of transactions by the team, ensuring quality and consistency of outputÂ
Hold accountability for the quality of the team’s transaction output, duediligence and reporting on overall transaction progressÂ
Raising the BarÂ
Regularly liaise with otherpeers to share best practices, and other key delivery partners from JLL and other service providers delivering integration, data integrity, and project and facilities managementÂ
Leverage JLLresearch team, bringing research insights,analytics and innovative ideas to regional client leadershipÂ
Leverage, invent and simplify best practices, including the continuous improvement of process,tools and templatesÂ
“See around corners” to mitigateanticipated risks/take advantage of opportunitiesÂ
Proactivelyidentify process inefficiencies, formulate and execute on implementation plans, followed by tracking anddemonstrating resultsÂ
Client/Stakeholder ManagementÂ
Responsible for effective transaction management service delivery to meet contractual obligations of JLLÂ
Develop andmaintain a detailed understanding of the client’s business and key factors influencing their requirement for our servicesÂ
Financial ManagementÂ
Contribute to the achievement of key performance indicators, service levels and other measures as contractedÂ
Bring the best of the JLL platform to the client by introducing innovative JLL products and services which may help the client achieve its business objectivesÂ

Bachelor's degreerequired; Master's, MBA, or advanced degree preferredÂ
10-15 years’ experiencedemonstrating success managing complex, high value transactions andportfolios of significant size and complexityÂ
Demonstrated skills in contract review, lease/purchase and sale negotiationsÂ
Solid understanding of financial and accounting impactsÂ
Strong negotiating, analytical, and organizational skillsÂ
Outstanding client service skillsÂ
A track record of championing speed,flexibility and frugality in the face of rapid change and heavy workloadÂ
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; strong writing skills – able toconcisely and effectively present a compelling narrative Â
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Docs/Sheets/Slides, etc.)Â
Proven ability to thrive in a matrixed environment, managing cross-functional teams through influence versus direct managementÂ
Strong ability toidentify and solve ambiguous problemsÂ
Naturally looks around corners andanticipates risks and opportunitiesÂ
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and successfully execute tacticsÂ

Compensation
The range listed below is for total compensation; inclusive of base plus target bonus.

Estimated compensation for this position:
164,500.00 – 188,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
