Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Security Transformation Practitioner to lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of enterprise security solutions across infrastructure, applications, cloud, and data environments. This role combines technical expertise with leadership capabilities, enabling organizations to strengthen their security posture, manage cyber risks, and embed security throughout technology and business transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will act as a trusted security advisor, leading security workstreams and collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups to deliver secure and resilient solutions.

Additional Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of security architectures and controls across enterprise platforms, cloud environments, applications, and data ecosystems.

• Drive security transformation initiatives by integrating security requirements throughout the project and solution delivery lifecycle.

• Conduct security risk assessments, architecture reviews, and control evaluations aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Support security solution planning, estimation activities, and security-related business development initiatives.

• Serve as a Security Subject Matter Expert, independently owning complex security deliverables and leading security workstreams.

• Perform and oversee security risk assessments, threat modeling exercises, and security control gap analyses.

• Lead security administration and data protection initiatives, including identity and access management concepts, privileged access management, encryption, and data security strategies.

• Guide application security practices, including secure software development lifecycle integration, vulnerability remediation, and DevSecOps adoption.

• Plan and oversee security testing activities, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, and remediation management.

• Evaluate emerging security technologies and support their adoption to improve cyber resilience and operational effectiveness.

• Develop and improve security policies, standards, procedures, and governance frameworks.

• Communicate technical security risks, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, operations, risk, and compliance teams to drive security outcomes.

• Mentor junior security professionals and promote knowledge sharing across security teams.

• Support enterprise security transformation programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8 to 12 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT risk management, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience leading security initiatives, managing security workstreams, or supervising security teams.

• Proven experience delivering enterprise security architecture, security transformation programs, or large-scale security implementation projects.

• Hands-on experience performing security risk assessments, security testing, threat modeling, and security control design.

• Experience supporting cloud, application, and data security initiatives within enterprise environments.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

• Advanced knowledge of Security Administration.

• Advanced knowledge of Security Risk Assessment methodologies and frameworks.

• Strong experience in Security Testing and Vulnerability Management.

• Strong understanding of security governance, risk management, and compliance practices.

• Experience applying frameworks and standards including NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and OWASP.

• Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and privileged access management concepts.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work independently while leading small to medium-sized teams.

• Experience communicating security risks and recommendations to leadership audiences.

Preferred

• Experience with Data Security technologies, including encryption, data classification, and data loss prevention.

• Experience with Application Security and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.

• Knowledge of Cloud Security architectures and modern security platforms.

• Experience supporting security transformation and modernization initiatives.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps, cloud-native security controls, and security automation.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

• CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)

• CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)

• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor

• Relevant Cloud Security Certifications (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
