As anSAP Business Data Cloud Consultant, you will design, implement, and optimize cloud‑based data solutions on SAP’s Business Data Cloud (covering SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and integration with SAP & non‑SAP sources). You will translate business requirements into scalable data models, analytics, and insights that support data‑driven decision‑making.

This role sits at the intersection ofdata engineering, analytics, and business consulting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implementdata models and views in SAP Business Data Cloud / SAP Datasphere

  • Integrate data fromSAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, BW) andnon‑SAP sources

  • Build and optimizeend‑to‑end data pipelines in the cloud

  • Developanalytical models, stories, and dashboards usingSAP Analytics Cloud

  • Ensuredata quality, consistency, and governance

  • Supportbusiness users by translating reporting and analytics requirements into technical solutions

  • Collaborate withbusiness stakeholders, functional consultants, and architects

  • Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize data flows

  • Contribute to data strategy, best practices, and cloud adoption initiatives

  • Support testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer

Education

  • Degree inIT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Technical Skills

  • Experience withSAP Business Data Cloud / SAP Datasphere

  • Strong knowledge ofdata modeling concepts (fact/dimension, star schema)

  • Experience withSAP Analytics Cloud (stories, models, planning is a plus)

  • SAP data sources:S/4HANA, ECC, BW, CDS views

  • SQL knowledge (SAP HANA SQL preferred)

  • Understanding ofcloud data architectures

  • Experience withdata integration & transformation
     

Functional / Consulting Skills

  • Ability to analyzebusiness requirements and convert them into data solutions

  • Strong communication skills – able to explain data concepts to non‑technical stakeholders

  • Experience working inproject‑based or consulting environments

Nice to Have

  • SAP BW or BW/4HANA background

  • Knowledge ofmaster data governance

  • Exposure todata governance, security, and authorizations

  • Experience withnon‑SAP data platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake)

  • SAP certifications inDatasphere or Analytics Cloud

  • Experience withDatabricks, AI/ML, or GenAI use cases

  • Knowledge ofSAP Joule or AI‑embedded analytics
