The Opportunity
As the Production Manager, the purpose of the Production Manager role is to lead the Production Plant or line(s) and be responsible for overall performance.What Youāll Do
ā¢ This role has 24-hour, multiple shift accountability for the business results and capability of the production lineā¢ Accountable for H&S performance, practices and culture across the production line and teams
ā¢ Accountable for process reliability
ā¢ Accountable for delivering the deployed targets
ā¢ Accountable for deploying and delivering standards
ā¢ Accountable for team development, succession planning, capability build and talent management
ā¢ Accountable for meeting people engagement targets and effective and efficient deployment of employees across the shifts
ā¢ Accountable for product quality measures, quality performance, practices, standards, and culture across the production line
ā¢ On-call duties likely to be required to support the 24/7 nature of the business
Requirements
ā¢ Tertiary degree, diploma, or minimum 5 years in a dairy manufacturingā¢ Minimum 3 years Spray Drying experience, preferably in a Nutritional Plant
ā¢ Experience in leading, developing and engaging teams
ā¢ Proven understanding of dairy manufacturing processes and systems
ā¢ Proven knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP systems
ā¢ Ensure the timely completion of the timesheet via allocated system
ā¢ Completion of all assigned Training to this role before the scheduled due date is mandatory
