Full Time or Part Time | Weekend Nights | Competitive Pay
Responsibilities will include:Â Â Â
- Facilitating tests and collecting data  Â
- Responsible for preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results  Â
- Responsible for following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks  Â
- Analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review  Â
- Required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control  Â
Job Requirements:Â Â Â
- NY PSG license and/or CRT/RT license required
- RPSGT certification preferred (NY PSG or RT license still required without RPSGT)
- Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT" or certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist  Â
- Current BCLS certification  Â
- All required vaccinations and immunizations

What You'll Do
As a Sleep Technologist, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring high-quality diagnostic testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct overnight polysomnographic sleep studies
- Prepare patients for testing and explain procedures
- Apply electrodes, sensors, and monitoring equipment according to industry standards
- Calibrate and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment
- Monitor and evaluate patient physiological data throughout the night
- Perform PAP mask fittings and troubleshooting
- Score and analyze sleep, respiratory, and cardiac events
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Ensure compliance with all laboratory, regulatory, and safety standards
- Deliver outstanding patient-focused care and support
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Polysomnography Program
- CurrentNew York PSG License and/or CRT/RRT License
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Required immunizations and health clearances
- Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CurrentRPSGT Certification
- Previous sleep laboratory experience
- Experience with PAP therapy and overnight sleep studies
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Candidates without an RPSGT credential must possess the required NY PSG and/or RT licensure.
Pay Range
$40.00 - $53.00 per hour
